Another First for BEST Kids

BEST Kids has qualified for the first time as a selected charity under the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) in 2010.  BEST Kids, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.   Federal employees in the Washington, D.C., area can now elect to have automatic payroll deductions sent to BEST Kids as charitable donations.  BEST Kids’ CFC code is 57175.

Expert Panel Says Critical Need for Mentors for Children in DC Foster Care

Washington, D.C. – Children in foster care are in desperate need of mentors to help break the cycle of despair and provide hope for a better life, say members of an expert panel who met on October 8 2008 to discuss the challenges and benefits of mentoring.
