VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT & OUTREACH MANAGER
PURPOSE:
The Volunteer Recruitment & Outreach Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all external outreach efforts related to the recruitment of appropriate volunteer mentors. This includes researching and attending volunteer fairs, giving presentations, building partnerships with corporations and community groups, and utilizing media outlets, including social media, in order to maximize agency mentor recruitment efforts. This position will liaise with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for communications coming from BEST Kids to their stakeholders, both internally and externally. Lastly, this position will partner with the Program staff on the matching process for all waiting mentors according to established policies and procedures as well as assisting in planning a robust and effective pre-service training program for incoming mentors.
